I'm not so sure about that. Certainly in my friend's case (mentioned above) she was charged both a small amount and a large amount each month. I think the idea must be that if the small amount was not noticed then it's likely the larger amount will also not be noticedErgates said:*Scams* don't generally try out with 99p first.

The site itself claims to be the finance part of a dating website, which could make sense as not everyone would want dating.com to appear on their card statement, especially if it's their partner's statement.
