Animal Friends Pet Insurance

I took out Pet insurance for my Yorkie dog last year with Animal Friends, as it covered pre-existing conditions if pet didn't have any treatment within the last 24 months, as my 11 year old Yorkie dog had a leg operation in 2020 and the insurance company i was with before was charging higher and higher premiums each year so i went with Animal Friends who was cheaper and covered pre existing, only today receive my new renewal with them saying the below, and of course the premium going up, so does it mean i am covered or not?, Many thanks, thank you.
Your new yearly price: £639.24*
Last year's price: £504.84*
Important information about changes to your policy
- Previously, we could start covering some pre-existing conditions if your pet hadn't needed or been recommended to have treatment within 24 months of your policy start date. We have removed this 24-month period for pre-existing conditions, meaning that pre-existing conditions will not be covered by your policy. A condition is only considered to be pre-existing if it was first noticed before you took out insurance with Animal Friends or within the waiting period. Conditions that were first noticed after you took out insurance with Animal Friends are not considered to be pre-existing and are unaffected by this change.
