BT choose start date and credit check

I was going through the ordering process for broadband and EE TV. I got to the credit check page and stopped. A credit check is not a problem, but as it is a hard check, I do not want to be checked unnecessarily, if they are not going to offer a choice of installation dates further on. My current provider package ends on 1st July, so do not want the takeover immediately, but also would like to take advantage of the current offer. Does anyone know if once you have passed the credit check you get a takeover date option? (FTTP to FTTP on BT backhaul). It would make more sense to me to credit check the applicant as a final stage of the process rather than mid- way, as if I don't like the options presented afterwards, I would have to apply to another who may do the same again, etc, etc.
Thanks
Thanks

I recently went through the process of getting a quote from Vodafone for their broadband and got quite a way through up to the point where it offered a range of switchover dates. It didn't go as far as July but it probably covered the next 3 weeks or so.
I would imagine that all providers would be similar.0 -
Thanks, was that after the check though or before? Maybe VF doesn't have one? Had a bad experience with them a few years ago when Daisy were their backhaul provider.0
