    I am not a great gardener but last year had some success using a mix of washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle.
    Read somewhere that it makes the leaves slippy.

    Easiest way is to encourage small birds into the garden.
    Especially this time of year they totally clean up.

    Just had Sparrows, Hedge and House, Blackbirds and Blue Tits, Green finch, Black headed tits and all their first brood and not a greenfly to be seen.
    The Hedge Sparrows even cleared up the Box Moth :smile: 

    And entertaining too.
