I earn just over that - until 4 months from now when I retire. There is no way on God's earth you want to do what I did to get there. Although I definitely didn't hang out on the Internet in the school holidays... Drat... there wasn't an Internet!

A public sector job for £80K would be £100K+ once you add the employer's pension contributions.

    Hello all!

I want to bring in £100k a year. What jobs bring this in?

If you do earn this already (through employment and other means) would you be so kind as to tell us what you do/how you earn this?

    Thanks for your assistance.
If you act quickly and have a convincing personality you might be able to grab a job as an MP in only a few weeks:

Failing that, get a degree that has lots of mathematics in it:

Buy five 2 bed and five 3 bed rental properties outright for cash and the rents should just about put you there.
Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.

In some places that would need £20m capital.  Want better than £100k per year back.

About £3m would do it easily - you don't have to buy where you live. Any £300k house would provide a rent of over a grand a month, nine of them leaving £100k for costs and stamp duty and your home and dry.

The next post from the OP could be "Where can I get £3m from?"

You can probably borrow that relatively easily of you have a bit of savings, a good business plan and a job paying £100k  ;)
