Rescheduled Event

I have tickets for a festival in Aug 2024, it’s been rescheduled to August 2025 so we have been given the option to refund tickets.
We have received part of the refund minus the booking/transaction fees which were £8 per ticket. Am I entitled to this money?

The Ts & Cs of the ticket-selling company are likely to clarify how this situation is handled - that's not to say that any such deduction is inherently lawful but I believe that it's fairly standard and I'm not aware of anything in consumer legislation that would outlaw it, when the booking/transaction fees are separated out at purchase time.0

Depends on the terms and conditions of the booking. What do they say?0
