Studio pay v studio.co.uk

I placed an order on 18th may 2024. Which they cancelled straight away. However Studio Pay has not received the notification that the order was cancelled and the balance is still showing as owing. I have emailed both companies repeatedly to get this sorted out but both keep saying I need to contact the other. Is the financial ombudsman my only way forward with this now?
I don't want my credit rating to be affected by this.
