You don't attach any appendices with a defence.
Evidence comes later, at WS stage.
If defences included images of signs & appendices then I'd say so in the Template Defence. It doesn't. I do make it clear in the Second post of the NEWBIES thread exactly 'what happens when' so I suggest you read that, so you are prepared.
Your defence needs the paragraphs re-numbering and ALL paragraphs need a number. You have some with no number, then for some reason you go back to 4 but haven't re-numbered it.

Your bit of the response is to the allegation made in the PoC, which we already know is woefully inadequate so please don't blast yourself in both feet by then providing War & Peace about what happened on the day in question. If all you can respond to from the PoC is that the VRM is the keepers vehicle and that the location is somewhere the driver had visited on the date in question, then that is all you need to confirm.
As advised, everything else you are itching to tell will come in your WS, if ever, considering they are likely to discontinue anyway.
You have missed out one of the paragraphs from the CEL v Chan "Preliminary Matter". Try the 2 paras plus the embedded transcript then followed by the additional matter of the PoFA 4(5) breach about the inflated amount of the claim.. Next the "facts known to the defendant" which are a para with whether the defendant is the keeper, driver, both or neither. The your answer to the PoC as advised above.
Anything after that doesn't need to be shown but must be included in the defence. All paragraphs must be numbered sequentially.3 -
Just a brief update, the keeper has received the usual court track allocation stuff.
Today a letter dropped through offering an absolute bargain, £100 to settle!
Is it best to respond by email to say "absolutely no chance, see you in court" or not to respond at all? Hopefully it's the usual death knell of the whole thing.1 -
Don't respond2

So, they claim they're out of pocket to the tune of £145, but would accept £100. Alan Sugar would not be impressed.
It's almost as if these "damages" are a figment of their imagination...3 -
The date for the court fee to be paid has passed - is there a way to see online if it was paid?
Either way, I assume there will be some further paperwork to come through, either a discontinuation or something else.0 -
No there isn't, phone the local court on Monday
Yes if they discontinued, no if they didn't2 -
