CSH2: taxation and performance

Amundi today wrote to tell me ERI for CSH2 (GBP) for 1 November 2024 to 7 March 2025 (the LIF period) was €25.0609 for CSH2 (GBP). I can now complete my tax return!

As a new holder of CSH2 and still finding my feet (and having trawled a good part of the thread), is it safe to assume that going forward:
Reporting period = 1 Oct to 30 Sep
Distribution date = 31 Mar
Date determining liability for ERI = 30 Sep

Yes, that’s correct. I like that Amundi has brought forward the reporting date from 31 Oct to 30 Sep so the distribution date falls in the same tax year. But as with Lyxor they do not (or, at least, this year did not) report it on time, so you do not know before the end of the tax year exactly how much space it gives you to sell other assets without incurring a CGT liability.

I don't know if GONS is any better, but it is there as an alternative now.

I missed the thread below (found it just now), though I no longer hold CSH2. GONS is available on ii but not on HL. Haven't looked at other platforms.
