Bought Car from Cargiant...No Cold AC
Picked up my 2021 Corolla Touring Sports from cargiant on thursday 3 days ago. Today notice the air con is blowing warmish not cold cis its inly gotten hot today.
Will they repair it if i take it back to them?
Dont think a regas will do because gas only finishes in the event of a leak. Will have to keep regassing it.
How do i deal with this?
Got it on finance too

I suspect a wider problem, if the last owner didn't use it the seals may have dried out allowing the refrigerant to escape, is shouldn't lose gas any way as its a closed system, just in the same way your fridge doesn't need repassing.
If you or Cargiant do get it re-gassed the machine they use should do a vacuum test to make sure there are no leaks but there could be a very slow that isn't picked up.
I had my car re-gassed twice and it worked fine a for a few weeks, after the second re-gas and it not working properly (no leak was discovered by the machine each time- once was a national chain and the second time a local well trusted garage) I called an A/C specialist who came to the house and found the leak where the steel pipe joined the aluminium radiator (corroded) housing £500 and one year later its as good as gold.

we had a good chat about all thong A/C and he stook me through all the pipe work and the ins and outs- very interesting.
I would take it back to Cargiant but be on guard that a simple re-gas might not fix it for long so keep an eye on it- you'll soon realise when its raining and your windows are steaming up.
Good luck.1
