How can I fit a fridge & washing machine in?

I'm moving into my home this week and having some problems with finding a fridge and washing machine to fit in the existing space. Some pics below for context
Problem 1; The under the counter height is just a tad over 840mm but all the washing machines in the stores seem to be 850mm in height. - do the w/machines have some kind of height adjustability downwards/ how to resolve?
Problem 2 - beading at the bottom of the tiled wall reduces the area width- I think it can be easily removed so that the total width is 1201mm. But half way along there is a skirting board that juts out- how should I resolve this- remove the skirting board entirely or somehow shave it off to be flush with the tiled area?
Problem 3- clearance. If I somehow manage to fit the washing machine under the counter will there be enough space between appliances- not sure if a minimum clearance between the 2 is needed eg so they don't bump together when w/machine is on? in this case the fridge is 595mm + 600mm for washing machine = 1195mm for a 1201mm space. - is this sufficient?
Can anyone offer advice please?

Built in washers tend to be about 82cm and there are a small number of freestanding ones at or under 84cm. Not necessarily recommending to buy from this company but it's one of the few you can filter by height https://www.rdo.co.uk/collections/freestanding-washing-machines?Height=-841
Can't see the skirting/beading causing any problems1 -
Both usually have adjustable feet to level them. If push comes to shove, you could remove the feet to get that last inch or so of clearance. getting the machines in or out might prove to be a struggle though...Well worth getting some PTFE pads to sit under the machines - They'll then glide over just about any surface. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
I'd be more worried about the state of the electric socket if I was putting a washing machine anywhere near it.

Watch out for the space to open the fridge. I saw one recently where the fridge would slot in but you couldn’t open the door.1

You can get some washing machines where the lid comes off and can be replaced with a thin metal one (at some cost). This shaves a couple of cms off the height. You'll need a knowledgeable dealer to advise you.
Alternatively, just buy a built in version.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
There's plenty of "slimline" fridge freezers available that are 50mm narrower than standard - so that resolves your width issue. How long is the run of units here? I'm wondering if there's a back door just out of shot - could you just get someone to lift your units up to give the necessary clearance (obvs adjusting under sink pipework to compensate)?1

thank you everyone for your ideas. i couldn't find any height reducing kits for the washing machine. But looking again there are variations in the under bench height of up to 1cm front to back and side to side! So it might be possible to somehow remedy this so its looking more promising
Hopefully between this and adjustable feet I can squeek it in
