Hello all, I'm back ! Actually we got back a couple of days ago but I've been busy with the washing and the gardening. The break was fabulous, lots of food to eat, fabulous staff and great entertainment in a lovely hotel. There is a chain of them so we're thinking of trying another one later in the year.
DGS came to help us with the garden and did most of the donkey work, then stayed overnight. As usual he ate his weight in food and I'm sure he's grown another inch or two 😲, I'll have to have the doors made taller as he'll soon be ducking under them and he's not 15 till September ! The garden looks less jungle now and quite tidy but a lot of the shrubs need cutting back still, that will have to wait though as my green waste bins are full, but get emptied this week so there's no excuse after that.
My itching is still here but the rash is starting to die back so I'm still taking anti histamines. I think I did a bit too much weeding and my operation site is a bit puffy so I'm not doing much today. Dad is coming over for lunch and we're having roast chicken with all the trimmings, Mr Fix It is on standby to help with the food prep and then dw filling.
I hope the poorly ones get well soon, especially Camelot and dp1's DGD.
Take care all
nan xx

Morning all
Bright and sunny day here which is lovely, yesterday I spent some time in the garden potting on my tomato plants and putting them outside, and sweeping the patio OH moved the grass which looks a lot better now and we ate outside last night which was lovely.
Today I have mum coming for dinner later I had a leg of lamb in the freezer since they were on offer at Easter so I got that out and we will have it today with all the trimmings, I will walk round and get mum as she has been a bit wobbly on her feet she is only four houses up so it won’t take long.
I got three loads of washing done yesterday most of it DD’s she normally does her own washing but had to work a double shift yesterday 8 in the morning till 10 at night so she was shattered, I have another load just finishing so that can go on the line too.
Gers I hope the mri goes well today xx
Hope all the poorly ones feel better soon xx

Afternoon all! Sunny, wow, really sunny! and hot! Ive done three loads of washing to take advantage of it and gone to a garden centre for some veg plug plants. Everything I've sown so far has been eaten so obviously I picked up some flowers and another geum but form HB, much cheaper than the gc. So it looks like work is going to start in six ish weeks time which is freaking me out, I feel a bit panicked at the stuff we have to do beforehand because the garage is going so that stuff has ot be moved, the goth box needs to come down, my plants need moving, money needs moving around, I'm having palpitations if you hadn't guessed. There's just so much stuff to think about. And I know I'l be doing most of the organising, plus we are going to Italy in Sptember for a wedding so that has to be factored in too. I'm going to be stones lighter by that time I think. And the cats wil leave home. And breathe....Nanny, glad you had a nice time away, it does make a difference just to go somewhere if you're well enough but don't overdo! waggy finger...Ruby, Rosy, thanks for the advice there, I also don't fancy searching at the back of cupboards for stuff but luckily too, there won't be any corners so no complicated things to go inside cupboards. Hope your mum enjoys her dinner. Has the nephew left the pciture yet? WL, that sounds like it went well then and sari shopping? ooo, fun! Florence, glad he's better but worrying there were no symptoms, lucky they picked it up there. Allie, remember stuff is not a race, factor in fun time...Gers, hope the mri goes ok, is it the noisy bang bang machine? camelot, glad you're better, hope you find something out this week...SO, just chat to us, we can tell you you're normal
dp1, fatigue is so annoying and so variable. hugs n stuff. Izzzy, fancy a week here to do mine?
Take care all!

I'm home from the 'noisy bang bang machine' - fascinating noises for the half an hour. Now I need to unknot myself by lying down and stretching. Thanks for all the good wishes.
