To commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, The Royal Mint have issued a brand-new UK 50p coin. Featuring an iconic design of soldiers running on the beaches during the Normandy Landings, the coin pays tribute to the bravery of those who fought for our freedom 80 years ago.

Crafted to the collectors’ favourite finish, Brilliant Uncirculated, each coin will be free of the marks and scratches found on circulating coins.

Furthermore, each coin will arrive presented in official Royal Mint packaging, providing insights into the significance of D-Day, that can be handed down through generations to come.
