Got a parking ticket on a Sunday in Bromley when there are no restrictions.

My wife received a parking ticket from Bromley Council in London

(along with 3 or 4 other cars in a line) from an inspector who issued them because they were slightly out of the bays. However as you can see from the images this only applies Mon-Sat and it was Sunday. Do I have a case against this as the parking limitations were not in place? Also the lines on the floor are so worn away that I think you could argue that they are not clearly signposted well enough?
I would be grateful for any help as I do not think I should have to pay this at all because it was Sunday.

Try posting over on the ftla parking forum after reading their posting requirements there ( in the council section. )2

I suspect it's nothing to do with "parking restrictions" it's the out of bay thing they are trying for and that has no time/day restriction. It's a big gripe of mine I regularly cannot park in our little town because two selfish drivers take up three bays, however yes the markings are abysmal and an adjudicator may agree who knows it's a lottery, but as above the place to try for advice is ftla as above.1

Thanks. I normally use Pepipoo who have got me off loads of tickets but they seem to have shut down?

FTLA is the replacement, with the same squad of regulars contributing. For PePiPoo read FTLA. The King is dead, long live the King! 👑tomhirvin said:Thanks. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
