DRO application, what a shambles!

I was responding to your point a few comments back that "if I don't need to claim, I will choose bankruptcy if needed and stay in my part time job"
I wasnt making any point about DROs where the problem seems to be (and I havent read even a quarter of your comments) that several DRO advisers are reluctant to put forward a DRO. If they dont think you will get through a year without earning more or claiming more benefits and that would mean your DRO will be cancelled you have to find some other way forward. Perhaps you should consider if several different debt advisers working for different agencies are all wrong or is it possible that they have actually seen a lot of debt cases and know what they are talking about.
Bankruptcy is one option. Sourcrates approach of just stopping paying is another.

bankruptcy would mean losing my car, an old one , why cos it needs to be needed by both parties in order to ustify it, I can walk to work , but wife works so early , no buses, it's a 2 mile walk.
so she would have to put down £180 a month in taxi fares on her bankruptcy application, . can the OR force her to walk, she struggles with a painful foot at the best of times,
obviously on my bankruptcy application it would ask can I get a bus or walk, the answer is yes.
like I said we would remain in part time jobs during the dro period and during the bankruptcy period so we do not get an IPA
on good news tho, one of of creditors wrote off one of our debts, a 4 figure sum. ( major credit card company)no questions asked! another is putting our debts on hold for 6 months to one year, another for 30 days.

You can have a car in bankruptcy to the value of around 2k, and especially if needed for work.
It doesn't have to be needed by both parties.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. so if I don't need car for work, but it's in my name, and wife needs it we can keep it.
is 2 mile walk not reasonable to be walked and hence justify driving instead
did read that if I can show that car for me would boost my chances of a better paid or more hours job, albeit further away, or not on bus route ,I can keep car,
but that may mean an IPA,
I got second appointment with CAP, then 3rd one which will decide best option.its being split due to the amount of paperwork for both of us to show and advisor to see.
they also to give me a link to upload to their site if it's screenshots I can produce instead
still hoping for some more write offs before we take the formal route.RBS bank not playing ball.
PRA may consider it.
but still waiting for more replies to come in post
plus got told don't need to claim any benefits ,can't be legally forced, but money wellness has it as their " company policy" , hence go to another debt advice provider, see what their policy isChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed.
