Travel insurance while awaiting heart rate monitoring

Hi all
I went to the docs recently about a pain in the side of my chest which I get from time time and it coinciding with a 24hr period of very high stress levels picked up by my fitness watch. The Doc thought it was likely an infection and lo and behold a few days later I discovered my son had chicken pox so it may have been something in that. its been fine ever since.
However as a precaution the doc did a blood test and said I'd get a 24hr rate monitor out on just because of the heart rate fluctuations picked up. In all honesty it's probably over the top but I'm in the situation of waiting on this monitor which could take months I assume.
I phoned up about travel insurance today and it seemed that this is a risk to them as it's a potentially undiagnosed medical condition.
Can anybody who's ever been through similar (a clearly non issue but technically waiting on tests etc) offer any advice? I'm looking to book a holiday this weekend for the full family and absolutely gutted if this prevents them getting away.
On a side point, is there any issues if my wife just books travel insurance for her and the kids and I just "take my chances". I assume that's fine but I noticed something on the travel agent website about travel insurance being a contractual requirement when booking the holiday
Thanks all

You might find it doesn’t add much to the cost of the insurance and IF it is stress related, that wouldn’t be helped by knowing you were in a foreign country with no insurance !0 -
Some travel agents do require travel insurance when you book a holiday wiht them.
If that is the case with the one you are looking at then find another travel agent whi doesn't require it.
Travelling without insurance is risky and you need deep pockets.
Apart from the risk of possible heart problems, If anything happens you may incur large bills for a hospital stay and/or a delayed return journey.
. Say you were involved in an accident and were unable to travel home on a normal booking. You may have a broken leg and require extra space. You may be so ill you need medical assistance on a flight.0
