I needed a replacement remote control for my major electrical retailer's own brand TV and was quoted £30 for it from their parts' supplier. I said I thought that was awfully expensive and was told it was the price I should expect to pay :eek: Plus, I had got the TV and a video player for £32 at our local auction house so wasn't about to pay nearly the same again for a remote :rotfl:

I'd already done a websearch and found Telly-Parts, who supply replacement remotes, so I phoned them instead. A lovely man there asured me they could supply a replacement, including batteries and delivery, for £19.50. He also said if there was a problem with it working with the TV they would replace it. I ordered the remote, it arrived the next day and it works perfectly! So a big hooray for Telly-Parts :T
