How to pay INTO my virgin money account

Just opened an account at Virgin Money. All the VM guides talk about how to pay FROM VM accounts but nowhere can I find how to pay INTO.
e.g. What's the NAME of the VM account ? It doesn't seem to be Virgin Money. Usually it's the name of the Bank etc and then the account number etc can be entered.
Thx

You tell us! In other words, which product are you trying to pay into?victohorta said:What's the NAME of the VM account ?0 -
Shouldn't be to difficult to pay into a Virgin Money account, surely all you need is sort code and account number?, it might (probably will) show up as Clydesdale Bank technically because they took over Virgin Money so all the new accounts will show up under that, but Clydesdale owned several brands already1

Into an M Plus Account. Normally there's a recognised bank name, then the account number, sort code etc. Virgin Money seems not to be the right name (says my other bank)eskbanker said:

Seems to need a name and then the usual data. My name ? Bank Name ?0 -
I have a Virgin Money savings account I pay into monthly by standing order. All I needed was the sort code & account number. The reference is my first & last name. That’s it.1

If setting up the payment at your other bank, when you specify your name and the VM sort code and account number, does the Confirmation of Payee check show the destination account as being verified (e.g. via a green tick or the like), but just presenting the receiving bank as Clydesdale or Yorkshire?victohorta said:

So to be clear you are trying to setup a new payee?victohorta said:jameseonline said:Shouldn't be to difficult to pay into a Virgin Money account, surely all you need is sort code and account number?, it might (probably will) show up as Clydesdale Bank technically because they took over Virgin Money so all the new accounts will show up under that, but Clydesdale owned several brands already

You setup by selecting personal option, put your name in the boxes along with sort code & account number, some kind of reference eg TRANSFER, save payee info and send the money.
If you having issues with your bank not making a match that's a confirmation of payee issue and isn't really anything to worry about your money should still reach the account, if you really bothered trying a test payment of £1 see if it gets there if so transfer the rest of the money to the account1 -
Did the payee check by the sending bank get a match when verifying ?Novice_investor101 said:I have a Virgin Money savings account I pay into monthly by standing order. All I needed was the sort code & account number. The reference is my first & last name. That’s it.0 -
Seems to work OK without the verify step working. So thanks.victohorta said:
