You will find many on here who think that anyone who works within certain industries/companies are scum of the earth no matter their reasoning for having to work for that employer. Look across at the car parking forum in particular, they'd say you'd be a better person mugging pensioners than working for a car parking company enforcing tickets for overstaying etc.0

Many of the excuses made are laughable. Likewise the level of indignation and outrage expressed. When people cannot simply do what they want when they want. Unfortunately reflected far too often in daily life in other facets as well. Boomerangs once thrown eventually come round to hit you in the head (extremely hard).DullGreyGuy said:You will find many on here who think that anyone who works within certain industries/companies are scum of the earth no matter their reasoning for having to work for that employer. The problem with CMCs, especially in PPI era, was the straight up falsehoods and misleading comments from them on TV, implying they are "experts" or could find accounts you have no details for etc. Given they use the same FOC process everyone else did and, at best, sent complaints to everyone they could think of alleging wrongdoing for people who didn't even have accounts with the lender, it's a very sharp practice. The fact their template, scattergun approach was less likely to get results than a specific letter or if you must, the MSE / Resolver site, was of course never advertised!Hoenir said:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
