Giving holiday (and other prizes) to family.

There are lots of holidays and trips for families. I live alone but would love to be able to give them to my son and his family. Most rules say that they aren't transferable (I assume that's to prevent people from selling them on) but I wondered if anyone has given their meals/trips/holidays away with no problems? Thanks

I once won a skiing holiday to Switzerland and was unable to go, so asked if our son and daughter could take our place. This was perfectly ok with the folks running that competition and they had a great time, but I think it would be very dependent on the companies involved as to whether the prize could be transferred.0

Holidays quite often come as a voucher, which presumably anyone could use. Unless they are personalised? I've never won one 😕I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards.
