I have received an email from them offering me totally free home insulation and a replacement boiler via an ECO grant.
Seems too good to be true...... and probably is ?
They are based in Sunderland of all places
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

ECO4 is a genuine scheme. I'm getting a free ASHP and solar panels. You would be well advised to due some due diligence on any potential installers. You do need to meet the financial criteria, although some Local Authorities (who are the ones that do the financial verification) have more relaxed rules than others. My LA has waived the receipt of benefits criteria, so as long as your income is below £31k and your EPC below E, then you qualify.1
