Many thanks thats just what i thought it should look like. The one ive been sent doesnt have any boxed transactions just printed out like you would on a home excel spreadsheet. The logo is one every other page not all which i also found strange. I will upload it when i get a mo and see what you think. Again thanks1 -
Perhaps before anyone can answer your question, you explain exactly what you are doing & why you want to see anyone else's statement? Ive been given the statement by the account holder - no breach in gdpr. The person is claiming payments were made and they werent. Theyve provided the statement to show the payments but I think theyve doctored the statements to look like there were.0

As I said before. They have to chase their bank as to where they have gone. The fact it has not arrived in your account is not your problem. Just double check you gave them the right account details. As COP will have confirmed to them if it was matching or not matching 👍

so this is one document the highlighted payments are the ones i have question over as i find the layout of them strange but dont want to reveal all details online due to gdpr.
my main concern is layout ...... i still find it strange.
the OD is beside a zero balance which my bank doesnt do.
as well as one of the 'online transactions' has details of the following beside it
- name on account,
- reference of sort code
- via mobile -pymt
- FP (date)
- Trans ref. xxxxxxxx000N
whereas all other online transaction data doenst reference the payee sort code. I just find the whole sheet a bit off.
And by bar code refered to in earlier post i meant the QR code or the lined code they often put on statements dont know what theyre called.

It is now not possible for a Natwest account holder to download a statement or list of transactions for a period longer than 12 months. Your statement covers a 2 year period. I suspect therefore that the account holder got the statement from Natwest, and it is perfectly conceivable that the formatting of such a statement is different to what an account holder can pull themselves. The account holder should therefore be able to ask Natwest to certify the statement as genuine.
Another option could be for the account holder to let you witness the pulling of a couple of 12 month statements for the 2 years in question. The account holder can do this in online banking, going back 7 years.

Makes no difference to what they give you. If the funds are not in your account. It is up to them to chase their bank.Life in the slow lane1

If there is a qualitative check on the nature of transactions and timeliness of payments, then a human is physically looking at the statement. That statement should be sent and stored securely, write down how they will do that, none of which is difficult. The suits and websites just give the impression of security and 'officialness' but there's no actual difference.1
