Hello is it possible to apply for a second account while still having one already?
And can l then leave it empty for maybe switching it in a few months time.
Thanks.

You can do this. You can have more than one current account with Nationwide. Personally I would open a chase account as you can instantly create another current account at the click of a button. So if you create 2, you always have one for switching, and once it’s switched out, create another. But don’t switch out your main (first) Chase account. It’s a very simple process. But I wouldn’t do too many switches at one time from Chase Hope this helps.1

Definitely, I setup a few spare nationwide accounts a while ago purely for switching, used them all up now. Think you can have a max of 4 accounts with the word Flex in at a time. I would put in a minimum of a £1 or something just to be on the safe side though as banks etc can close/freeze accounts with nil balance, non use etc.[Deleted User] said:Hello is it possible to apply for a second account while still having one already?

Nationwide will carry out a hard search which will remain on your credit file for a short while[Deleted User] said:
