You should be able to get out of your fix exit fee free by early to Mid-November. It's just a gamble as to whether the early exit fees will be more than the expected savings over a fix now or one in November. I'm in the same situation but with only a £75 exit fee. I'm sitting tight for now.1

It's not clear who you mean by "the expert team" but, unless you are a high energy user, it is unlikely that switching to another suppliers SVT will save you more than your £150 exit charges.gymdiane128 said:Thank you for everyone's response and help but I am still very confused whether to switch and paying the high exit fees or not, it would be great if the expert team will give advice too?
Switching to a smart tariff, such as Octopus Agile or Tracker, might give you a better chance of recouping that, and perhaps ending up with cheaper electricity overall, but no-one can tell you that unless you provide your actual kWh usage. You have already been asked for this above.
And with that information, you can also find out for yourself by using one of the many comparison sites.0 -
I thought MSE expert team might sometimes answer your queries here?0
