i took out a car breakdown policy online with 2gether insurance on 17th May, in anticipation of my current policy running out on 31st of May
i always go through topcashback but the visit to the site is not showing up
topcashback are offering 50% so this is a big discount and their investigations into the missing cashback can take up to a month
what id like to do is cancel my policy and re-instate it via TCB again so that it tracks successfully hopefully
2gether are trying to charge me £10 to cancel my policy - is this normal/acceptable - im within the 14 day rule for online purchases and my policy hasnt started yet?

Cooling off periods simply mean you can cancel it not that it is fee free to cancel for insurance. £10 is less than what some charge. In principle after the cooling off period you have no right to cancel at all but for most classes of business insurers do tend to allow you to cancel.
