Hi All,
I am looking at applying for a DRO and my partner is also. The question I have is. I have 2 guarantor loans which were taken out with Future Finance Ltd when I was in Uni. They have since gone into voluntary insolvency. The guarantors are my partner and my landlord. Due to health reasons and my partner having to be my full time carer we have decided with help of Step Change a DRO is an option for us.
Bit side tracking I have logged a complaint with FSO stating irresponsible lending and await an outcome for that. Having read advice on MSE hopefully the guarantors can be removed.
Back to my DRO if my guarantors are not released from the loan I will have to add the one my partner is guarantor to the DRO he is also going into DRO. However I am worried about the one my landlord is guarantor on. If I pit that loan into DRO and he is approached for payment that more than likely cause issues with my tenancy.
I'm so unsure what to do. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thank you

If you are doing a DRO you must enter all your debts on the application.
Anyone being a loan guarantor has to understand that they can be, and in many cases will be, solely liable for the debt0 -
Ty I thought that was the case. I'm hopingmy dispute is upheld and the guarantors can be removed. Failing that I'm going to have to rethink things. As can't afford to move and homeless is not an option as I'm disabled. If anyone has any advice greatly appreciated x0
