Asda refund, unexpected service

I'm sure a lot of people on here may be aware of the green label 'Love it or Leave it; range at Asda but I didnt know about it till today.
Yesterday I bought some lamb chops. They were 2 packs for £8. Got home and opened one pack and grilled them. They seemed fine to look at but hubby said they tasted a bit 'off'. This morning I noticed a whiff in the fridge and it turned out that it was the other pack of chops.
I went into the store to return them and explained I had only bought one pack back because I had cooked the other pack.
No problem at all, the assistant put the £8 refund back on my card and then gave me a store shopping voucher with another £8 to spend to choose something else.
Apparently with this range if you dont enjoy what you buy you get to change it and also have a refund as well.
Wonder how many people will take advantage of that offer and abuse it?

our local supermarket is Asda and to be fair, even though I moan about the store, their customer service is pretty good. I haven’t seen that range of food yet.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £17,496.340
