Leased Car Faulty - Warranty repair but no lead time
Hi
I have a leased car (Personal), it's a vauxhall mokka electric car, it came up with a fault on the dash and said it needed to go in for repair. I took it to the local dealer - it has an issue with the main traction battery and requires it replaced. The part is on back order with no lead time. SO i'm paying £300 odd for a car that is sitting in the garage with no date of when i'll get it back which is likely to be in to weeks rather than day.
What are my rights? Do I have any?

I'd like to think you'd get a courtesy/hire car FOC although not necessarily like for like. Raise it with your lease company - they might be able to get help from Vauxhall and/or discuss returning the car early if the parts delay continues. You have the option of the Ombudsman if you're not happy with their complaint response0

Vauxhall should be providing you with a courtesy car once it's been determined to be a warranty issue.

Many manufactures have this covered off that no courtesy car is provided. So getting one is down to the dealer to supply.Life in the slow lane0 -
When my Vauxhall was in for DPF issues (maybe 3 times) I'd got a courtesy car via either Enterprise or EuropeCar, which was completely independent of the dealers courtesy car stock.
But it was a bit of a fight each time. I'd definitely be getting on at Vauxhall and the leasing company to sort it out.
