How do I get outlook to open on a specific folder ?

My outlook (professional plus) 2019 has started to open on a different folder to what I want

How do I return it to a particular email Inbox ?

I have moved the address / mailbox to the top of the list - no effect

I have defaulted the address - no effect

I have tried setting the folder as favourite - no effect

I have a "Start Outlook in this folder" option in Outlook File\Options\Advanced. I've specified 'Inbox', but you can select other folders. I can't tell from what you've described so far whether or not you've already tried that.
