Facebook, PayPal and a hacked account that ran ads.

Options
Not sure if this is the right forum but wondering if anyone could help or been through similar.

A few weeks ago my Facebook account was hacked, I had a business page attached to it which I hadn't used much in a long time but had a Meta ads account I used mainly for Instagram. The hacker got into my account and set up some dodgy ads all without my knowledge or any correspondance from Facebook (not even an email to say that ads were up and running) I was charged £80 via PayPal before I realised and managed to put a stop to it. The hacker had then got in and change all the admin privileges and even, I think the email on my account which was then disabled by Facebook due to apparent violations (all done by the hacker).

There is absolutely no way of contacting Facebook about this despite going round in circles for a long time so I disputed the amounts via PayPal. It has now returned in Facebooks favour as apparently the good were delivered to me (not another option to choose when disputing that fits the category better).

Is there anything I can do about this?! Surely Facebook know my account was hacked! I've pretty much written off getting it back but am angry that they've taken £80 from me.
