Selling Funds to buy Funds - Best / cheapest method.

Decided to sell some of my funds to put them all into a World index tracker to make life simple especially as I do not really know what I am doing and want to avoid temptation of messing around too much..
My question Is , is there a best time of day to sell funds ? When I click on the sell option on my Iweb account on my HSBC GBL STRAT it says will be priced at the next valuation point , does this mean the funds will be "held" until that point ?
thanks

Funds are priced once per day. There will be a cut-off time before which you'll get that day's valuation and after, the next day's valuation. This varies by fund, but doesn't matter a great deal, as you don't know which price will be better.
