Good morning, it's sunny here but it's going to rain apparently.
Yesterday was the same, this constant rain is a bit depressing.
Not a lot to report, I don't know if we'll go anywhere today.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day, take care folks.

Thanks for the start ScarletRibbons
A rude awakening with B-dog being sick - maybe may solution of giving him some supper doesn't work
Anyway, it made me get up though I was late going to be (for me) so feel a bit weary.
Weather was awful yesterday interspersed with sunshine, today promises the same.
No plans as yet as I don't feel properly awake but there's plenty to do of one thing and another.
Enjoy your Bank Holiday!

Morning All
Still damp and dreary, yesterday was really quite miserable.
Day off for me today, I'm going out with DD and the little one, probably to the Museum and Art Galleries, the little one likes it there.
Yesterday was a day of sloth, I fell asleep for a couple of hours in the afternoon and watched some TV - a perfect Sunday!
The bathrooms are to clean this morning before I go out and there are a couple of things to iron.
I've been out in the garden and cut the poenies, they have just bloomed but will really struggle with the rain so I'll enjoy them inside.
Hope everyone is well, take care. XX10 -
Morning all. Bright and sunny here this morning.
Spent some time shopping yesterday, looking for either a dress or a smart top, but could find nothing. Everything is so long on me or has strange sleeves, high necks or doesn't suit me for some reason so I'm abandoning the quest for now.
Today I'm with my Morris side at a Farm Museum near Tring so hope the rain stays away. DH did manage to get the grass cut yesterday before any showers and we didn't get any thunder or lightening.
Have a good Bank Holiday everyone.10 -
Morning folks. The bed hit stripped yesterday, I hesitated to hang it out so it's all on the airer and bannister upstairs. Just as well as soft rain fell all day. Tights were needed again. 😀 Apart from that nothing much happened except I got an invitation to the 70th birthday of my cousin in Germany. He's the elder brother of my favourite cousin and definitely the grumpy one of the two. Him and his wife live in the south of Germany so I'm undecided. They didn't even send a text or a card for my 70th this year so I'm still in a semi-huff now made a bit worse by the invitation. I'm not usually a huffy person! This morning I'll do the weekly banking before going to my exercise class, not entirely sure that it's a good idea as I'm still coughing. It's a weird one, loose but unproductive, anyway I'll give it a go. Then I may wander up to the shops, not decided yet.I hope that the weather is kind to everyone.11

Morning all. I've been having lazy days and doing nothing except some gardening, meeting up with friends and stuff...I did go to a Murder Mystery on Saturday, caught up with people I haven't seen since last February I think, so that was OK. Another millenial there has decided to push off and travel for as long as possible before coming back again, so I encouraged her all the way. Life is short etc..Today not doing much, more gardening, the courgettes and squash can go out if I can protect them from the baby foxes that keep playing in my garden which sounds lovely, but as soon as they are too big to fit under the fence, it's getting blocked up. I don't want my cats being scared in their own garden. Plus they're digging up my plants which is annoying. I don't doubt the'll move on once the neighbours behind actually notice they're living under their shed.Happy bank holiday to thos enot working, hope the sun shines a bit for you all.Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...9

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. What would we all moan about if we didn't have such unreliable weather?! Yesterday was quite nice inbetween the light showers but, as promised, the thunderstorm and torrential rain arrived with a vengeance around tea-time. Fortunately they didn't last too long.
This morning's washing is already festooning the upstairs, although it's currently fine. Apparently it won't last.
No fixed plans for today other than waiting to see if DS is back in time from his little break to do a bit of grocery shopping later. I don't need much so no problem if we don't get there. Other than that I think it may be a day of sloth, reading, eating and watching rubbish on tv.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. GERS I can understand your huffiness - they don't even text you on your birthday but expect you to fly there. I hope NAN is having a nice break and doing a lot of relaxing. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8 -
Morning all
Dry here for now but rain due later this morning and then sun again this afternoon, I’m hoping we can get out on the bikes again we did 14 miles yesterday which was lovely we ended up at a farm shop and bought a skirt of beef which we cooked on the bbq last night it was delicious.
Going to have a clean / tidy through this morning ready for my guests tomorrow I have a wash on the go and another one to go in after, not sure about dinner tonight but we have plenty in.
Dogs to be walked but dd may do that.
Im still not feeling 100% after covid I can’t keep anything much down and if I have too big a meal it all comes back up 🤢 I’m hoping it’s just a temporary thing but it is doing well for my weight loss I have lost 1.5 st which was well needed according to my bmi I should lose another 2st but I would be happy with 1, I do need to get some more jeans though as mine are hanging off.
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Morning allWent out in the garden earlier to prepare a space to plant some sunflowers. In now drinking coffee as there was a downpour which is still going on. Forecast says it'll stop in an hour so I shall carry on then. Looks like that's whats going to happen all day so I'll just go with the flow. Yes TA, what would we talk about if we didn't have such crazy weather lolHave a good day all and avoid the wet stuff if you can x8

Morning everyone
I feel like I've wasted my morning. I woke before 8 but just felt exhausted and fell back to sleep, waking again just after 10am.Feeling quite fed up with Long Covid now. I had little one and te kitten to stay on Saturday night. Kitten was having a practise stay before DD goes on holiday, she was fine though my cat wasn't impressed! Little one was a good help and shared her attentions between them both.
We went to see a childrens' ballet on Saturday afternoon - The hare and the tortoise - it was excellent and little one enjoyed it so much. Then I took her to the park in town, she's been asking to go for ages , I don't think we'd been since last Autumn.
Yesterday we went down to mam and dads and then played lots of games as it was raining.
Eldest DD is now briefly home from her travels - she's going to Turkey with a friend on Wednesday night. Then I think she's home and at work for a while!
Right I've got ironing to do then might walk down to Homebase for some flowers - we're meant to have heavy rain and lightening later so who knows whether I'll get them put in.
Hope everyone has a good day x8
