I see they're still using that ungrammatical phrase -
     "Had you of paid...".    :)
@victor56 please search the forum for that phrase plus the added keywords:

     report VAT concerns DCB

Please now report DCB Legal to HMRC as explained in all the results you will see... very easy but very important.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    :), still heard nothing back!

I have also been arguing with UKPC as they are refusing to provide me with a SAR!

Why are you "arguing" with them? Why do you even need a SAR? If they haven't responded to your SAR then report them to the ICO.

Have they actually refused or just not actioned it within the timescales they are allowed (30 days)?  They do not provide you with a SAR, you submit one (Subject Access Request) and they send you all the data they hold on you and/or your car.

They are asking me to provide information so they can issue it and I said no!  If they are able to issue me with the fine without any proof then I feel they should send me what I asked for!

Claim Form also received today from DCB Legal on behalf of UK Parking Control Limited dated 16th July.

Do I actually need to do anything with the claim form /  reply to them.

Or do I just file AOS and send off my defence?

Now that a Claim has been issued probably best not to pursue the SAR issue.

With a Claim Issue Date of 16th July, you have until Monday 5th August to file an Acknowledgment of Service.  Do not file an Acknowledgment of Service before 20th July, but otherwise there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 19th August 2024 to file a Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
