Small Claims Court Advice!

We are taking someone to Court over non payment of rent and bills.  Our Court Notice states that we must send copies of all documents that we intend to rely on, to the Court and the other party. As well as copies of evidence backing  up our case, should we also be sending a background story baring in mind that most of this information was given on our original claim?

I don’t think it’s required - I think it’s asking for evidence - so that’d be bills sent / communications received or sent / witness statements (if appropriate). Your arguments aren’t evidence and you will have time to portray your arguments supporting them with your evidence.

You are expected on the first sheet of the evidence bundle to provide a brief timeline and indicate which pages support each point.

(This is assuming you're a landlord)

Probably better moving to the House Buying and Renting board - this isn't a consumer issue.
