Does Windows Update still work on Windows 7 ?

I know Windows 7 is no longer supported and new updates are not being released, that this stopped number of years ago, on 14 Jan 2020.


But does Windows Update search function work for the updates that were released or should it ?

If you know or still use Windows 7, please check & let me know.

WIndows Update still works in Windows 98 AFAIK through its method of delivery so its probably safe to say it still works in 7 with its method of delivery (changed of course from Vista from a web app to be built into Windows).

Anyway there's the likes of Autopatcher and WSUS Offline Update (not to be confused with Windows Server Update Services, which is an entirely different thing).
