I have done in the past.
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1 -

I wouldnt think the post office would let you tbh without the card, but the bank branch should.
Or, get a friend to pay it in at the Post Office in the next couple of hours before they shut, and just transfer it over to you?1 -

My golden rule is to never deposit any money into any account before I have full online / app access to it, and am able to transact as I require (e.g. making online purchases).Depending on the account, you might need a debit card to register for the access. Others will give you instant access, and some even a virtual debit card you can use immediately.3
