I got this mp3 player for christmas http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5133934/Trail/C%24cip%3D1500006565.Sound%2Band%2Bvision%3EC%24cip%3D1500006633.MP3%2Band%2BMP4%2Bplayers%3EC%24cip%3D1500006636.MP3%2Bplayers%2Bwith%2Bportable%2Bsolid%2Bstate.htm
I have tried to put some music from my comp. on there and nothing is working. Firstly it only recognises 5 songs...when i have put about 40 songs on there. I have looked on the properties and the 5 songs that register are listed as Windows Media (TM) Audio Track, however when I try to play 'No authority' comes up on the screen.
Also the other are from iTunes and are listed as MPEG-4 Audio File.
These things don't mean much to me...but I wonder if anyone could help as I am desperate to get some music on my mp3 player so I can start using it.
Thanks a lot everyone!

You can't play apple/itunes songs on that player. And I'm willing to bet it won't play protected tracks either so you're pretty much restricted to songs you've ripped from CD in either MP3 format or WMA and not anything from itunes or WMA songs that are purchased as downloads."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I agree. If you really want to use itunes tracks then you need an ipod but then an ipod won't play wma files. The main problem with your current mp3 player is that it doesn't seem to play ANY type of protected file microsoft's or apple's. There's no legal alternative or one that can be discussed on this forum."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
