British Airways Holidays Las Vegas 2024 on Capital Network and Heart Network, May and June 2024 – Specific Rules
1. The ‘British Airways Holidays Las Vegas 2024’ promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Friday 24th May 2024 to Friday 21st June 2024 on the Capital Network and Heart Network. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is British Airways Holidays and the ‘Prize Provider’ are British Airways Holidays and Global.
2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.
Details of the Promotion:
3. To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page at either www.capitalfm.com/win or www.heart.co.uk/win register your details and submit an answer to the multiple choice question provided.
4. Online entry will open at 17:00 on Friday 24th May 2024 and close at 23:59 on Friday 21st June 2024. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.
5. Within 5 days of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries from both Capital and Heart will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via email or on the telephone number on which you entered. If such winner does not respond within 28 days from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email within 5 days of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.
6. We, the prize providers and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.
7. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we British Airways Holidays may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.
Eligibility:
8. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 21 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry, note exclusions apply as outlined in Clause 10.
9. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.
10. Employees and agents of (a) the Promoter or (b) any company connected with the production or distribution of this Promotion, as well as their relatives or members of their family or household are excluded from the Promotion.
11. Prize: One winning entrant will receive
a. 4 nights’ overnight accommodation in a 4* hotel for 2 adults, including return British Airways flights in World Traveller (economy) from London to Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas
b. Travel insurance for 2 adults
c. £700 spending money.
Specific prize t’s& c’s:
12. The prize is subject to availability and valid for travel between 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025, excluding UK bank/public holidays. Other black-out dates may apply. Travel must be completed by 30th June 2025. Subject to availability and travel restrictions. Extensions to the ‘valid for travel’ period are not permitted. Hotel and rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.
13. For avoidance of doubt, the winner and their guest must be aged 21 or over.
14. The prize winner and their guest must travel on the same itinerary. All parts of the prize must be used in conjunction with the same booking.
15. Neither Executive Club tier points nor Avios points will be earned with this holiday package
16. All incidental expenses are the responsibility of the prize-winner. Once the holiday is booked, it is non-changeable, exchangeable or refundable. If you miss your flight, or fail to take the outbound leg, your holiday will be void and cancelled.
17. It is the responsibility of the winners to organise any necessary visas and passports required for travel. Winner and their guest must travel on the same itinerary. All parts of the prize must be used in conjunction with the same booking.
18. The prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and the UK airport, any transfers to or from their overseas hotel, (outside what is previously declared in the holiday prize,) food and drink (outside what is previously declared in the board basis,) personal expenditure or incidental costs.
19. Winner and their guest are solely responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documentation (including passport/visa/visa waiver as may be required) and appropriate vaccinations / inoculations (including covid-19 tests) for foreign travel at their own expense.
20. The winner is responsible for paying all associated costs that are not specifically stated in any Promotional materials or these Terms and Conditions, including (where applicable) transport, accommodation, meal costs and all other incidentals. Winners are also personally responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the prize. All travellers must have sufficient resources to meet any financial commitments, without limitation, which may incur in connection with the prize beyond those included in the prize itself. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree that the prize is awarded on an "as is" basis, and that neither the Promoter nor any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the prize.
21. World Traveller (Economy) flights provided include a 23kg luggage allowance per passenger.
22. The winner will be sent a prize confirmation email from Global. Within this confirmation email, the winner will be given further instructions in order to redeem their holiday from British Airways Holidays.
23. The holiday is provided by British Airways Holidays Limited (company number 00554278). British Airways Holidays Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Avios Group (AGL) Limited, company number 02260073, whose registered office is Waterside, Speedbird Way, Harmondsworth, UB7 0GB.
24. We will endeavour to transfer the spending money to your bank account within 28 days but are not responsible for any delays. You must provide all necessary details via the method directed within 14 days after the original request to do so otherwise the prize will be forfeited at our discretion.
25. You must, at your own cost, comply with all necessary checks, and/or tests required for travelling to and from and entering and exiting your travel destination/venue. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing, organising, undertaking, recording and/or registering any required Covid-19 tests. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred by you in complying with this clause, nor will we purchase, organise, undertake, record and/or register any required Covid-19 tests.
26. You must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and guidance relating to Covid-19, both in the UK and your travel destination/venue. We are not responsible for your failure to comply with such rules, regulations and guidance.
27. You acknowledge and agree that, without limitation to the provisions of Clause 12 of the General Terms & Conditions, our ability to fulfil a prize and/or perform any of our obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions could be affected by an actual or threatened epidemic, pandemic, disease or quarantine and/or any corresponding governmental action, guidance and/or ruling (including but not limited to any Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office guidance) (collectively ‘Covid Measures’).
28. If due to any Covid Measures, we are unable to fulfil a prize or perform any of our other obligations under the Promotion Terms and Conditions, then we shall not be in breach of the Promotion Terms and Conditions. In accordance with Clause 30 below, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
29. insurance is provided by the Promoter on an optional basis and is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. Travellers must be 74 years old or younger. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to check the Promoter’s travel insurance policy to ensure it provides the appropriate level of cover required. If travel is to the following locations: Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mexico, Venezuela, India, Iraq, Philippines, Honduras, Brazil, Somalia, Algeria, Mali, Mauritania or Niger, full names of travellers must be supplied to the insurer before travel. The travel insurance is provided to the winner on the understanding and agreement that it is only valid for the holiday prize described in this Promotion. Should the winner decide not to accept the Promoter’s travel insurance policy the responsibility will be on the winner to obtain suitable travel insurance for themselves and, where applicable, their guests.
30. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, airport transfers are not included within the prize.
31. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion.
32. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

34. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) British Airways Holidays as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.
35. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and British Airways Holidays Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and British Airways Holidays with their personal data.
36. We and British Airways Holidays may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we and British Airways Holidays will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.
37. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.
38. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
