THIS MORNING AND LOOSE WOMEN PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the This Morning and Loose Women programmes (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, the This Morning app (the “App”) and online via  the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 24 May 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS, the App and online at 3.00pm on Friday 14 June 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 20 June 2024. 

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

 

• PRTS Phone - call 09068 78 60 60 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line; up to fifteen (15) paid entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). For each subsequent call from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their call). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each call costs £2.00 plus your network access charge.

 

• SMS text – send an SMS text with the keyword PRIZE, WINNER or APP to 86060; up fifteen (15) paid entries per phone number. Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message. Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable).   • Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a Winsday Prize Draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you (unless you are entering via Rich Communications Services (RCS)). 
  • Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website. 
  • Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.
  • Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.
  • Debit Card: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your debit card. Please note that use of a debit card may incur charges from your provider.
  • Open Banking: follow the instructions on the Website to deduct your entry costs directly from your chosen bank account.

 

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

 

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in this Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

Where you opt to enter through one of the promoted paid entry routes, ITV must have received evidence of payment of any costs (as notified to ITV by the applicable payment provider) relating to the entry (as set out in the on screen promotion and these terms and conditions) by the time that ITV conducts the winner selection in accordance with the Winner Selection & Contact section above. Any entry that does not meet this criterion will be incomplete, invalid and ineligible to win the prize.

Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize of £60,000, Travel Republic holiday credits worth £15,000 and a luxury goods package.

 

(i) £60,000 cash 

 

This element of the prize consists of £60,000 (sixty thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

(ii) Travel Republic holiday credit

 

This element of the prize consists of a Travel Republic credit worth £15,000 (fifteen thousand pounds) (“TR Credit”) to be redeemed against a single or multiple holidays (subject to availability), at the winner’s choice, as available on https://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/ (“TR Website”). Please note that the winner cannot redeem the TR Credit online, and that the winner must phone Travel Republic’s representative to book the Travel Republic holiday(s), up to £15,000. 

 

The TR Credit can be used to book accommodation only holidays and package holidays that can include hotel transfers and attraction tickets as displayed on TR Website, with Travel Republic acting as an agent. The TR Credit cannot be redeemed against flight only, cruise, attraction only tickets, cottage holidays or any other ancillary product sold on TR Website. The redemption of the TR Credit is subject to availability of the hotel for accommodation only bookings, and availability of the hotel and flight operator for package bookings. Although every effort will be made to obtain flights from the winner's closest (UK) airport, please note that this may not always be possible. Any costs relating to transportation, hotel stays, parking etc to reach the UK departure airport will need to be met by the winner, and Travel Republic shall have no responsibility for such costs.

 

The winner must use their TR Credit within two (2) years from the date the winner is contacted by Travel Republic (“Validity Period”) but the Travel Republic holiday(s) may be taken after the Validity Period. Failure to book the Travel Republic holiday(s) by the Validity Period will render the TR Credit (or any remaining part thereof) void. 

 

The winner may travel with any number of companion(s), up to the total booking value of £15,000. Where the winner’s total booking value is more than £15,000, the winner must pay any extra costs above the £15,000. Where the winner’s total booking value is worth less than £15,000, no cash exchange will be offered and the remaining TR Credit will be lost if it is not redeemed by the Validity Period.

 

The winner must be the lead booker and traveller on the Travel Republic holiday(s). The winner’s companion(s) must travel on the same itinerary as the winner. Once the booking has been confirmed for the Travel Republic holiday(s), it cannot be refunded, changed or transferred to another passenger.

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for them and their companion(s), (ii) ensure all passports are valid for the destination country and (iii) ensure that they and that their companion(s) are adequately insured including, without limitation, cover for overseas medical costs, and (iiii) ensure that they and their companion(s) adhere to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by Travel Republic. Travel Republic is not responsible for any issues arising from passport or visa validity issues. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform Travel Republic of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion(s) when booking the Travel Republic holiday(s), and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

 

The winner and their companion(s) are responsible for being up to date with and adhering to any travel and health advice for their destination country. The FDCO (UK) and DFA (Ireland) travel advice pages should be checked on a regular basis, as applicable. Travel Republic will have no responsibility for refusal of travel due to health, travel or entry requirements not being met.

 

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the Travel Republic holiday(s).

 

Please note that the TR Credit cannot be used against the cost of travel insurance, travel to the UK airport, food and drink, spending money, taxes payable in the hotel or personal expenses or any other costs not set out above. Any additional costs are the responsibility of the winner and their companion(s). 

 

Once the Travel Republic holiday has been booked, the booking conditions of Travel Republic (available at https://www.travelrepublic.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/agency-terms.aspx) will apply. In the event that Travel Republic cancels the booking, an alternative Travel Republic holiday will be offered where possible, or TR Credit for the Travel Republic holiday will be re-issued to the winner.

 

There is no cash alternative to the TR Credit and there is no alternative prize if the winner is unable to travel for any reason.

 

(iii) A luxury goods package

 

This element of the prize consists of a luxury good packages including the following:
