1)The prize comprises a seven (7) night stay in the Shetland Islands for two (2) people including;

a) Return Indirect Economy flights from a UK airport to Sumburgh airport, Shetland Isles via an airport in Scotland

b) Car hire for the duration of the trip including Collision Damage Waiver and third party liability insurance

c) Seven (7) night’s self-catering accommodation on the Shetland Isles, up to the value of £1000 total

d) Four (4) hour easy walking tour of South Mainland and Jarlshof

e) £1,000 spending money

2) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, the winning individual must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the accommodation. A current and valid credit card may be required in order to check in at the accommodation for security deposit purposes.

3) In order to collect the rental car, the prize winner will be need a current and valid credit card for the security deposit of £1500. This will be refunded once the car has been returned in the same condition as it was collected.  Please note that drivers must be aged 23 or over in order to drive the rental car.

4) The prize must be taken by 15th December 2025 but cannot be taken between 15th December 2024 to 5th January 2024 and 4th April 2025 to 21st April 2025. The stay must be completed within the time-frame stated within these terms and conditions. Extensions to the validity of the prize will not be allowed unless first authorised by Channel 5.

5) A BACS transfer for the £1000 spending money and travel costs included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed

6) Booking is subject to availability. 

7) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of the date of their congratulations letter from Cloud Nine and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred booking date or the prize may be forfeited.

8) Neither Channel 5 nor Cloud Nine will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

10) If fulfilment or any element of this promotion is delayed or affected due to pandemic or global emergency and resulting Government restrictions, all entrants affected will be contacted by the Promoter and kept updated of any unavoidable changes to the promotional dates, revised fulfilment dates or prizes.

11) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

12) Any additional charges or expenses due to pandemic or global emergency which could include but are not limited to quarantine hotels, medical passports (should they become a requirement), medical tests etc. will be the responsibility of the prize winner. 

13) Passports, Visas and City and ECO taxes are the responsibility and at the cost of the prize winner.  Channel 5 or Cloud Nine cannot be held responsible if the prize winner or any of the travelling party fail to obtain the required travel documentation.

14) Travel insurance is not included but it is strongly advised for travel. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining appropriate travel insurance for themselves and their companion. 

15) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

16) For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel to and from the home to the airport, gratuities, meals or other  travel expenses unless otherwise stated, or any other costs of a personal nature not stated for winner and guest.
