Just a polite warning to check your credit file. There were several mistakes on mine, which affected my score. An example being how long I had resided at my address. It stated less than 2 months, when it should have said 7 years 7months. I had to email the electoral register in my council. They then sent me an email which I had to forward.

Their system for disputes is also complicated should you have more than one dispute, as the reference numbers don’t match. They seem to keep creating new numbers. Just make a note of each dispute for your own peace of mind.

The process takes a long time to change as another member has mentioned.

Good luck everyone., I didn’t have these problems with Experian.

Christina

No one looks at your score but I agree that a bank might wonder why you have "lied" about living somewhere for 7 years when Transunion "proves" you've only lived there for a very short time.

Hope you get it sorted ok.
