    There are plenty of individual images of low resolution images available but that is no good for looking at a specific uninteresting area.
    Depends on how uninteresting your area is.  First place I'd try would be Google Earth Pro (the desktop version).  I've had decent success finding 80s & 90s images of many areas for planning purposes.
