FTB Nationwide Mortgage Application

Hi there, we are purchasing a new build and have a completion date for 31/05/2024.
We had our application in and offer received in January. In Feb we exchanged contracts in readiness for the house being finished.
Today we received a text from nationwide stating that “ Nationwide here. Funds will be sent on 30/05/2024. If you're moving, this may be a day or so before you move. Other applications complete on this day.”
Is this the sign of the end? Will any further credit checks be done? Or are we good to go?

Very excited now and just want to enjoy it rather than worry that something might go wrong 😂
Any advice would be welcome!

That should be it barring any very unlikely calamities (like your house falling down etc. ) Enjoy you new home.0

Nationwide (and their predecessors; our local Greenwich Building Society and the Portman who gobbled ‘em up and were in turn taken over by Nationwide) have been brilliant lenders to us for decades and several changes of homes… so I doubt they’ll mess you about? And they are still a mutual!
But another great feature is that they pick up the phone if you ring ‘em… so…2 -

Fanks Arfur’. Greenwich were great to me; gave me a loan despite having incurred a CCJ over a trivial forgotten debt, then years later, Nationwide bunged me a loan despite my having just been made redundant ( ‘er indoors was still solvent, thankfully). So good lucky to the OP!0
