Halifax home insurance

We've just renewed our buildings and contents insurance with Halifax for the 3rd year and the documents correctly state that we have not made a claim since we've had the policy. I did phone them back in Sept 2022 as we had a water leak but we didn't claim as the damage from the leak was minimal and I phoned back to tell them we wouldn't be claiming. The thing is there is no mention of this incident on the policy documents and when i phoned to check they have said they only ask about paid claims and there is no record of the incident but it might be recorded on thr claims system as an incident but we have nothing in writing to say this. Just wondering if we should have this incident noted on the documents or not.

They ask about claims, and you haven't had one.
If they asked about incidents or losses, that would be different, but they've told you they don't.0
