Purchase not appeared on statement after a year

in Credit cards
In over 40 years of using credit cards I’ve come across something that I’ve never encountered before.
I use my credit card for virtually all purchases and pay it off, around £1500, in full each month. Over 12 months ago I made two purchases, one via a website the other in person using my PIN. Neither has yet appeared on my statement.
My question - how long has to elapse before the card company can no longer add the transactions to my credit card bill?

In effect the retailer has 6 years to process the transaction.
But under Visa/Mastercard rules after 6 months you have a chargeback right for late presentation. That is if they use the actual date of the transaction.Life in the slow lane0 -
Usually 6 months but they can pursue you for the debt for 6 years. What did the sellers say when you contacted them ?

After 6 months they are supposed to ask your permission again however the system would allow them to put it through after 6 months but it gives you a chargeback possibility. For simple contracts the law of limitations is 6 years so it's a practicality matter rather than you're free from having to ever pay for it after the 6 months.0
