Letter of Claim is just an alternative name for a Letter Before Claim.
Interchangeable names for the same thing.
The first few lines of the second post of the NEWBIES thread should help.

Hi All, I have now received a Notice of Debt Recovery via Direct Collection Baliffs Ltd, requesting payment of £170. Got to Love the inflation! What a business to be in! I’ve added the document below.

Debt collectors are powerless and can be ignored as per the advice in the fourth post of the NEWBIES. We don't need to see the bog-paper/hamster-bedding/fire/lighters from them.

I got four of those, so each time, I replied to them with a photo' of where I filed them.

ODD BUNCH, why send you letter headed bailiffs and then say this has nothing to do with bailiff action ????

Then they don't seem to know what they claiming for ?  "VAILDATE THE STAY OR MAKE PAYMENT"

Then there is the normal junk about the Supreme Court to which DCBL are clueless.
The Supreme Court ruled that the parking charge was set  ......  to operate the scheme .... NOT TO ADD A FAKE £70 as DCBL do

Fruitcake has the right idea what to do with such nonsensical letters
