Together Energy/Bristol Energy Credit

Hi everyone

I've read through a few threads around together energy but nothing in the last 12 months - I have been trying to recover my credit from British Gas but they state they have not found my account number or address. Its not an insignificant amount of money, is there anyone who has found a way to get this back?

Please give more details. Were you with TE and got moved to BG? Did you receive a final bill from TG? Are BG saying you are not a customer with them? How are you speaking to BG?

Everyone who was with T.E when they collapsed, was moved to BG and their outstanding credit should have moved over . However ,it took the administrators a long time to provide a list of customers who were in credit and a considerable number of customers were left in your position. Did you actually have evidence that you were in credit ? Did you stay with BG after the transfer?
 The state of T.E's "systems" was awful and I have sympathy for the administrators trying to sort out the mess.
 There is a T.E customer support group on Facebook who might be able to suggest a way forward but don't hold your breath re recovering your credit.
