Demanding letters 10 years after DRO finished.

Its quite likely you won`t hear from them again, keep in mind all letters you receive from banks etc are mostly computer generated, they were simply complying with the consumer credit act, by sending periodic statements to him.
The most probable scenario is that no one told the computer about his DRO, so it continued to send annual statements, hopefully now that will cease.
But in the unlikely event he does receive more of them, it means nothing, and doesn't alter the fact his DRO cleared his debts, so no need to worry about it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. They would like to put an end to this once and for all and not have this hovering over them. One of the letters does mention payment. Also it does look like they've fabricated the start dates! I'm enclosing scans plus his original DRO paperwork.0

All previous advice still applies, the DRO has just not been updated on their systems.
Ring them if you want to talk to a human, or go down the complaints route as advised.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. This is getting a bit ridiculous now.
So on the 1st of June I sent the following letter to Santander:
My friend didn't receive a reply so I then sent on 22nd July the following letter:
Several weeks later my friend received the following later strangely dated 18th July, that's not a problem though as they've acknowledged it and we thought that was the end of it.
As you notice only one account number is mentioned, none of the rest are mentioned despite them all being listed in the original letter we sent.
Then two weeks ago he received yet another demand for one of the listed accounts.

If you have had their final response, refer the whole thing to the FOS and let them deal with it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
