I can log into any regional Amazon website using the same login details I registered on the UK site many years ago, and the same payment cards, addresses etc will be listed. Similarly, the Amazon app lets you switch between regions fairly easily. So I wouldn't say they're completely separate. (But certainly separate in terms of orders, customer service etc)
