Justeat refund rights

Hello,
I ordered some food on justeat and the incorrect order arrived.
I ordered some food on justeat and the incorrect order arrived.
I sent justeat the details of this, and as this can take a while to get resolved and I wanted my food, I reordered so have now paid for the same meal twice essentially.
Justeat contacted me saying they had automatically refunded me as account credit. I responded saying I wanted it in my account instead as I was now out of pocket and didn’t believe they should benefit from a mistake made, when it is my money.
Their customer service has responded saying it’s in line with their policy and the people responding don’t have the ability to overturn this.
I have asked for this to be escalated and to be sent the policy, both requests have been ignored.
I paid by card, not PayPal so can’t raise a dispute.
Can anyone advise on if there’s anything further I can do?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

You can potentially look at a chargeback. If successful, JustEat may shut down your account, and black list your account (not unusual, and you can’t force them to have you as a customer).Did you contact the restaurant? It seems to be, based on other posts of the forum, JustEats only responsibility is to act as a platform and not for the quality of food. In future, you may want to contact the restaurant directly to get the issue resolved. It’s up to you what you do - but if you do file a chargeback (and same logic if you file a PP dispute) you have to be prepared for them to fight it and say they’ve already given you a refund; and/or if they don’t fight it they may well terminate your account. How long does the JE credit last - it may just be more pragmatic to accept that and use the credit especially if you’re a regular user.0

If they have refunded your JustEat account then any chargeback will fail. As they will simply say it has been refunded.Life in the slow lane1

What's the value involved? If relatively small, just spend the credit on another order, then close your account and stop using them. Some battles just aren't worth it, and neither are some service providers.0

Why make life difficult for yourself.
I agree with @Aylesbury_Duck, get your next carry out using the credit and then stop using them.
